Acclaimed actress and super model Brooke Shields knows what its like to be in the limelight and the public eye. She has learned it takes inner confidence to know that she works hard, is proud of her roots and her two daughters.
She is thrilled to share her new campaign with SculpSure. This campaign embodies her healthy attitude to body image. She wants to set a good example for her daughters so they too can have a balanced approach to taking care of your body and working out.
“I will say that, at times, it’s hard not to try to live up to what you think other people expect of you. And if you’ve been labeled a supermodel and you’ve been told you’re this and all of a sudden, you know, you’re 53, and you don’t look like you did when you were 15. Is that disappointing [to everyone]?” Shields said. “How do you reconcile [that] without feeling, ‘Oh, I’m letting people down’? It takes inner confidence to say, ‘I’m working hard. I’m so proud of where I’ve come from. I’m proud that I have two kids, I work.’… It took me a long time before I stopped comparing myself to other people, you know, and I think that that’s a huge step.”
The actress, model is no rookie when it comes to gruesome workouts and training schedules. She explains that SculpSure is a great way to address the stubborn areas resistant to diet and exercise.
“I work out a lot and I always try to stay really fit and really healthy — it’s a lot of work,” Shields said. “And the older you get, the harder it is. There are some spots that no matter what I did, no matter how much weight I lost, they were still there. They caused me to be insecure, and for all of the hard work that I was doing, that was really frustrating to me. SculpSure addresses that.”
Shields explains that SculpSure is not a “quick fix treatment or a weight-loss program.” It is a treatment to help target problem areas.
